Bobby Lamar Faircloth, JrBobby Lamar Faircloth, Jr  Two men wanted for a home invasion in Metter are now in custody.  Twenty-three year old Bobby Lamar Faircloth, Jr., and 19 year old Kaliel Knight, both from Metter, were charged with aggravated assault and attempted kidnapping for entering a home in Metter July 30.  Metter Police Chief Dennis Nelson said during the invasion they pulled a gun on a man and tried to force him into a house on South Rountree Street.

A lookout out was issued for Faircloth earlier this week.

Nelson credited the quick arrests to the hard work and determination of his office’s investigators, assistance from the Candler County Sheriff’s Department and Sheriff Homer Bell, Montgomery County Sheriff Ladsen O’Connor and deputies and investigators with the Emanuel and Toombs counties sheriff departments.  He also thanked the news media which, he said, generated numerous leads generated by the public.
