Voters return to polls for runoff

  Highlighting the Republican runoff is the campaign for J. H. “Jack” Kingston and David A. Perdue seeking the nomination to run against Democrat Michelle Nunn.  They are seeking the U.S. Senate seat held by Zaxby Chambliss who did not run for another term.


  Republicans will also choose between Michael L. “Mike” Buck and Richard L. Woods for State School Superintendent.  The winner will face the winner of the Democratic runoff Alisha Thomas Morgan and Valarie D. Wilson.

  Bulloch County voters may call the Board of Elections office at 912-764-6502 with questions.


  Polls opened at 7 a.m. today and will close at 7 p.m. at all usual voting precincts in Bulloch County.  Even if you did not vote in the May Primary you can still vote today if you are registered.  You will have to choice a Republican, Democratic or nonpartisan ballot.  Those who did vote in May must vote the same party ballot in today's runoff.
