Brooklet store robbed; GBI called in

  The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has been called in to help find two men who robbed a Brooklet store over the weekend.


  Shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday Brooklet police went to the Dollar General store on U.S. Highway East to check into a report of an armed robbery there.  Employees told police two men entered the store, pulled out guns and demanded money from the registers.  After getting cash the two men left and haven't been seen since. 


  Brooklet Police Chief Mike Buchan said the his department was assisted by the Bulloch County Sheriff's Department in response to the robbery.  No one was injured.


  The case was turned over to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.  No other information is currently available.
