Whitesville “walk through”

Written by  Thursday, 17 July 2014 09:28

The Whitesville Community will host a “Walk Through” Friday at 9 a.m.  Carrie Howard, President/Executive Director of the Whitesville Community Association, said the reason for the walk through is to discuss issues that are faced within the community with Statesboro Mayor Jan Moore and the City Council.  She said a representative from the county is also invited to join the discussion.

Howard urges all citizens of the Whitesville Community as well as those who own property there but live elsewhere to attend to meeting.  The meeting is open to other citizens of Statesboro to attend as well.

The goal, Howard said, is to determine ways and means to bring better living conditions to Whitesville.
