Last Thursday investigators with the Statesboro-Bulloch Crime Suppression Team went to the Lodge Apartments of Statesboro on Institute Street in an attempt to locate a male wanted for sale of cocaine.  In a press release Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson said Rotema Watson, 43, from Millen, was believed to be in apartment #3.  When officers approached the unit investigators saw a man at the door matching his description.  The report said Watson attempted to throw away a bag of crack cocaine and was taken into custody.  Six other individuals in the apartment were also taken into custody after investigators obtained a search warrant for the unit.  The discovered additional drugs including marijuana and prescription pills and a firearm.

In addition to Watson CST investigators took into custody: Nicky Young 38, Institute St; Michelle Parker, 48, Valley Rd; Brandon Mincey, 27, Institute St; Jarel Brown, 24, Williams Rd; and, Prethenia Wells, 43, Johnson St, all from Statesboro.  Twenty-four year old Larry Jackson from Millen was also arrested.

Charges against them ranged from possession, sale and intent to sale cocaine, marijuana and Schedule II drugs and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.  All were transported to the Bulloch County Jail on those charges.
