Blood drives today, Thursday

Today's drive is in the Mims Monroe Blood Services Center, Suite 307 on the third floor of the East Georgia Regional Medical Center's Doctors' Office Building, adjacent to the hospital on Fair Road.  Hours today are from 12:30 till 5:30 p.m.


  Brooklet United Methodist Church will host a blood drive in the Social Hall from 2 till 7 p.m. Thursday.


  All eligible blood donors are urged to make an effort to attend today's drive in Statesboro or Brooklet Thursday.  All types of blood are needed but Red Cross officials there is a special need for O-Negative, O-Positive, A-Negative and B-Negative. 


  If you would like to donate blood but your time is limited you can make an appointment for a specific time during a blood drive.  This way you can get in and out quickly and still have time to donate life giving blood.
