The proposed Fiscal Year 2015 budget for Bulloch County will be topic of discussion at a workshop and public hearing next week.  The Bulloch County Board of Commissioners has scheduled the work session for next Tuesday.  That will be followed by a public hearing on the budget,

The workshop will get underway at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the request of County Manager Tom Couch.  The public hearing will follow at 6:30 p.m. at the Bulloch County Annex at 115 North Main Street.

The commissioners had delayed the adoption of the budget to be sure the revenues and other issues were accurate.  The budget, estimated at $65.3 million with a general fund around $31.6 million, is expected to be adopted by July 15.
