DSDA cancels June F1rst Friday

Written by  Tuesday, 01 July 2014 09:29

With the Fourth of July falling on a Friday this year, Mill Creek Regional Park will be the location for an afternoon and night of activity including the annual highlight of the celebration,  fireworks display around 9 p.m.

With that in mind the Downtown Statesboro Development Authority announced today that with the holiday weekend and other community events, there will be no F1rst Friday for the month of June.  The DSDA urges everyone to spend the holiday with family and friends and attend the fireworks show and other activities at Mill Creek Friday.

F1rst Friday is expected to return to its usual local and time in August.
