Park Place Apartments drug arrests

Zachary Tyler Zachary Tyler  According to a report from the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Department, Monday investigators with the Statesboro-Bulloch Crime Suppression Team intercepted the package containing a quantity of marijuana scheduled for delivery to an residence in Park Place Apartments at 230 Lanier Drive in Statesboro.  The package was claimed by 21 year old Zachary Tyler lived in the apartment with his brother 20 year old Nathaniel Tyler.  Investigators developed probable cause to search the apartment in which the Tylers resided and discovered quantities of marijuana, LSD, and other drug paraphenalia.

  Zachary Tyler was charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute and Possession/Use of a Drug Related Object.  Nathaniel Tyler was charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of LSD with Intent to Distribute, and Possession/Use of a Drug Related Object.  Both were transported to the Bulloch County Jail pending further judicial action.

 

  The Lanier Drive corridor is one of several focus areas in Bulloch County where CST is concentrated based on citizen complaints, crime statistics, and proximity to GSU campus.
