A lookout has been issued for two men who robbed another man early Monday morning.

The 27 year old victim told Georgia Southern Police he was walking home from work about 4 a.m. Monday and decided to go through the area around the football practice fields near Herring Pavilion.  He told police as he approached a wooden bridge he heard a noise behind him.  When he turned around someone punched him in the back of the head which stunned him and knocked him down.  He said a second man approached and the two hit him in face abdomen and face.  The assailants took $160 in cash from his wallet.

The victim said both men were black.  One was described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with short hair and a goatee.  He was wearing blue jeans and a red Atlanta Braves “Support Our Troops” shirt.  The other was 6 feet tall, muscular with long dreads.  He was wearing a white tank top, black jeans and white high-top shoes.

Police looked around the area but found nothing.  Emergency Medical Service personnel were called after he complained of not feeling well.
