Man charged with Child Molestation

 Brandon Lamar GoldenBrandon Lamar Golden A 17 year old Statesboro man is in jail charged with child molestation for impregnating an 11 year old girl.


  In a press release, the father was identified by the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Department as Brandon Lamar Golden of Packinghouse Road.


  According to the report Bulloch County Sheriff’s Investigators responded to East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro Monday after receiving a report about an 11 year old girl who was pregnant.  Investigator determined the pregnancy was the result of incidents which had occurred in Bulloch County over the past six months.  The relationship between the girl and Golden is not being released at this time so as to conceal the juvenile’s identity.


  Golden was arrested and charged with one count each of Child Molestation, Statutory Rape and Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes.  He is being held in the Bulloch County Jail pending a bond hearing.
