Heather Banks McNealHeather Banks McNeal  A swearing ceremony is set of this Monday for Heather Banks McNeal.  She was elected as the new Bulloch County Clerk of Courts in a special election held along with the May 20 Georgia Primary in which she defeated Alvie Coes, III.  The ceremony will be in the Bulloch County Courthouse at 5 pm Monday.   Interim clerk Charles Sikes said a reception will be held afterwards.

She will take over the post vacated last December when Teresa Tucker resigned after pleading guilty to violation of oath of office.  Tucker, along with several others, were charged following an investigation into the clerk’s office by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
