  The Bulloch County Board of Commissioners will hold their regular mid monthly meeting tomorrow, May 20, at 8:30 in the Community Room in the North Main Annex at 115 North Main Street in downtown Statesboro. Chairman, Garrett Nevil (Presiding)


Consent Agenda:

            To Approve an alcoholic beverage license for Buddy’s Truck Stop,

            To Approve to appoint John Lavender to the Development Authority of Bulloch County,

            To Approve a bid with Chandler Roofing/ Specialty Metals for roof replacement on the Honey Bowen Building,

            To Approve a bid with Blanchard Equipment Company for two John Deer Gators,

            To Approve a bid with Golf Ventures Inc for a Smithco Super Star X-Treme infield machines,

            To Approve a sole source procurement with Freestyle Connection for the 2014 Firecracker Fest,

            To Approve an agreement with the Georgia Department of Corrections to provide an inmate crew with Guard/Supervisor.

            Discussion/Action: Yancey Brothers Appeal regarding local vendor preference,

            Discussion/Action: To Authorize a purchase order to the apparent lowest and most responsive bidder for one motor grader and one sloper,

            Discussion/Action: To Authorize a purchase order to the apparent lowest and most responsive bidder for two tandem drive motor graders,

            Discussion/Action: To Authorize a purchase for two backhoe/loaders.


New Business:

            Discussion/Action: To Approve to update the Comprehensive Plan,

            Discussion/Action: To Approve to update the Service Delivery Strategy.




           Update on Bulloch County Roads by the County Manager.
