County Commissioners to meet today

  Today's regular first-of-the-month meeting will be in the Community Room at the North Main Annex at5:30 pm.

 

  On the Consent Agenda: Approval of Liz Bland and Lynda Webb to the Statesboro Regional Library Board; Submission of three applications to the Hospital Authority for Seat 1-A;  reappointment of  Mr. Marion Hulsey to the Board of Tax Assessors; an application for an alcoholic beverage license for retail beer and wine sales to Keyurii Patel for Zip-N-Foods # 8; purchase of a new audio/video systems in a courtroom at the courthouse; a memorandum of understanding with the Board of Health and Southeast Health District Operations; a lease agreement renewal with Pineland BH/DD; approval of a bid from Over and Under Contractors, Inc. to remove 7 wooden light poles and replace with new wooden poles at Fair Road Park, Zadie Douglas Park, and Brooklet Park. 

 

  The commissioners will also consider authorizing the purchase of 2 tandem drive motor graders, one motor grader and sloper, two fire trucks, fire hose, a solid waste roll-off truck and a contract and purchase order for construction services 

 

  In New Business: The commissioners will authorize the staff to negotiate and enter into an agreement for municipal master lease financing and authorization of a purchase order for two (2) backhoe loaders
