Today is last day to register for Primary

 Brian KempBrian Kemp Secretary of State Brian Kemp reminds Georgians they must be registered to vote by today in order to participate in the May 20th Primary.


    Kemp said every Georgian should have the opportunity to vote in the primary.  Georgians with valid Georgia driver's license can go online to 


  The "My Voter Page" (MVP) app also allows Georgians to register to voe.  They can view their specific sample ballot, find their pollign locations, check voter registration status and track the status of their absentee Ballot.  All of this information is available on mobile devices on Apple and Android platforms.  To find the app search for "GA Votes" in the app store.


  Bulloch county voters can also go by the Registar's office in the Bulloch County courthouse in downtown Statesboro to register.  They will decided on two county commission seats, two school board positions and clerk of court.  They will also choose a governor, U.S. Senate seat and the 12th Congressional district race to choose a Republican candidate.


  Advance voting begins April 29.  In he event of a tie a runoff will be July 22.  The general elections is set for November 4.
