Kite Baptist Church’s Night of Worship concert is taking place Saturday April 19th at the Swainsboro City Auditorium directed at the youth of our area.  The Mainstreet Farmer’s Market takes place this week in the parking lot of Sea Island Bank at 9am. The Market has local food and crafts for you to spend money that goes right back into the Statesboro community.

 

Splashy’s Fun Swim will be taking place from 10am-12noon at Splash in the Boro. For $3 families can spend a little time at the pool and soak up the sun as they wait for the summer to officially begin.

 

GSU Center for Wildlife Studies will host an educational event entitled “Are You Afraid of Wildlife” where they hope to debunk some of the major myths about scary animals in order to build respect for animals and curb the fear from misunderstanding. This event takes place from 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm at the Center for Wildlife Education.
