Brooklet City Council to meet tonight

  The Brooklet City Council will hold their regular meeting at 7 tonight at the Brooklet City Hall at 104 Church Street.

 

  After hearing reports from the various councilmen as well as police chief Buchan and attorney Hunter they will take up several items on the agenda,  including:  Discussion and possible action to purchase a new pick-up truck for the public works department; to fund improvements to the police department building to include internal and external repairs and remodeling; funding the newsletter through the remainder of the year, and; resurfacing, intersection repairs and sidewalks for West Lee Street.

 

  Council will close the regular meeting to go into an executive session to discuss personnel matters.  Afterwards, they will return to the regular session for discussion and possible motions.

 

  The meeting is open to the public to attend and participate. These comments will be limited to the subject that is being debated.  Members of the public may speak for FIVE MINUTES and may speak only once.  Anyone wishing to speak at any meeting must be recognized by the mayor before addressing the board.
