Statesboro Film Festival This Thursday

The Statesboro Film Festival is taking place at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 17, at the Averitt Center in downtown Statesboro. The event hosted by The Statesboro Herald and the Averitt Center for the Arts hopes to locate and honor the best locally made films. Entry fee for the 6th annual festival is $5 to view about a dozen films. The pre-screened and selected films will be shown and awards will be given for Best Film, Best Director, Best Cinematography and Best Editing.
