BOC regular meeting Tuesday

  The board will hold their regular mid monthly meeting Tuesday, April 15 at 8:30 a.m. but instead of the North Main Annex they will head over to Brooklet to conduct the meeting in the Brooklet City Hall.  After the regular meeting concludes they and the public will attend to an Open House and Ribbon Cutting for the new EMS/Fire Station at 10:45 a.m. at 16841 Highway East in Brooklet.


Items on Tuesday’s agenda include:

  A presentation by Kelly Collingsworth, director of Keep Bulloch Beautiful on this year’s Great American Cleanup and Arbor Day; a proclamation from the Board of Education by Superintendent Charles Wilson, and; an Ag Arena Pre-Design Progress Report from Parks and Recreation consultants.


On the Consent Agenda:

  A proposal for Geotechnical testing for I-16/301 Industrial Park; a resolution to accept title for a donated motor vehicle; annual right of way mowing and spraying bid; Guaranteed Maximum Price Amendment Contract with Lavender & Associates, Inc. for construction of the new annex building; a resolution concerning a Federal grant application to the United States Department of Transportation, I-16/US 301, and; a vehicle allotment to various departments.


In New Business:

  Discussion and action on a bid for performing Full Depth Reclamation on portions of various roads and discussion only on an amendment to the County Roads and Bridges Administration Policies, vertical deflection devices.


  Estimated Time: 1 Hour 45 Minutes.  The meeting is open to the public to attend.
