Georgia Southern hosts "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes"

A group of men, most of them in heels walk a path around campus in order to draw attention to sexual abuse and assault the event was sponsored by GSU's health services, the sexual assault response team the multicultural student center, and various other organizations among the men walking in this years event, Statesboro fire and police, University police, fraternities, faculty, and guys whose wives asked very nicely. For the walk, men donated $5 each and each organization also raised money for this cause proceeds from this event will go to the Statesboro regional sexual assault center, which helps sexual assault victims in Bulloch, Jenkins, and Screven counties.
