According to information from the Bulloch County Sheriff’s last Saturday, in reference to alleged drug sales, investigators with the Statesboro-Bulloch Crime Suppression Team executed a search warrant at a residence in the Cambridge at Southern Apartments on Lanier Drive. Investigators found a quantity of marijuana along with a 9mm handgun and an AK-47 assault rifle.
Cory Harrison was arrested and charged with one count of Sale of Marijuana, one count of Possession of Marijuana (misd), and two counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime.
The release said Lanier Drive, an area of high student population and adjacent to Georgia Southern property such as Paulson Stadium, is a priority area for the Crime Suppression Team. Part of CST’s mandate is to target violence and the drug activity which often spawns such violence in these areas.
