12th District candidates will be at GOP forum

Rick AllenRick Allen  All five Republican candidates seeking the nomination to challenge Democrat Senator John Barrow will be on the stage Delvis DuttonDelvis DuttonMonday for the first of a series debates.  Rick Allen, Delvis Dutton, John Stone, Diane Vann and Eugene Yu have confirmed they will be at the Joseph E. Kennedy Building at Ogeechee Technical College Monday at 6:30 p.m.  Prior to that the candidates will participate in a meet-and-greet session in the lobby at 5:30 p.m.


  The candidates will have 90 seconds to respond to questions.  Statesboro City Councilman Phil Boyum will be the moderator.

  Monday’s forum will be the first of 4 in the next few weeks.  Others are scheduled for April 8 in Dublin, April 24 in Augusta and May 1 in Coffee County.
