Blood drives today

  Both of the blood drives are set for today (Thursday, March 27).  The first will be from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m. in the F. D. Russell Union on the second floor, room 2047 on the campus of Georgia Southern.  East Georgia Regional Medical Center will sponsor a drive from 12:30 till 5:30 p.m. in the Mims Monroe Blood Services Center, Suite 307, on the third floor  in the adjacent Doctor’ Office Building. 


  All types of blood are needed but there is a special need for O-positive and negative, A- negative and B-negative.  These are the most in demand blood types. 


  Potential donors are urged to visit one of these blood drives today or in the future.  For those whose time is limited you can make an appointment ahead of time by calling 1- 800-733-2767 (1-800-Red Cross).  To make an appointment online, go to / Click on Make a Blood Donation Appointment
