The Annual Dabbs, Hickman, Hill & Cannon, Regional Student Technology Fair is one of 16 preliminary technology fairs in the state that qualifies first-place winners to compete in the Georgia Student Technology Fair. The Bulloch County event is open to all home-schooled, public or private-school students in third through twelfth-grade from Bulloch, Evans, Candler, Jenkins, Screven or Effingham counties.
Following this event, competitors would proceed to The Georgia Educational Tech Fair, in which 15 Bulloch County Students placed in the competition and six students took home first place in categories such as mobile app design, non-animated graphic design, and digital video production.
Bulloch County student Haley Mock took home an award of $250 from the consortium for her work in digital photography.
The Georgia Educational Technology Fair (GaETF) is an annual competition that brings great minds from across Georgia to share projects such as graphic designs, 3D modeling, programming, digital production, and even game design.
