OTC's iGOT campaign today

Written by  Tuesday, 18 March 2014 09:46

A hundred volunteers will spread throughout the area today soliciting contributions for the Ogeechee Technical College Foundation, Inc.  Proceeds from the annual event go to fund scholarships and provide emergency funds for students, purchase needed educational equipment, staff development and other critical needs.

OTC serves students in Bulloch, Evans and Screven counties and the generous donations of cash and in-kind contributions from supporters during such efforts as iGot go to help the school provide the needed work force.

Although the iGOT campaign is geared primarily toward businesses, contributions from individuals are welcomed.

Volunteers will be going around the area contacting various businesses during today's drive.  Tom Clark, foundation president, urges everyone to give generously when contacted.

Those who are not contacted can still contribute by calling OTC's advancement officer at 912-688-6098 for information.
