BOC meets Tuesday

  Kelly Collingsworth, Executive Director of Keep Bulloch Beautiful, will make a presentation on the KBB 2014 Children’s Water Festival, March Kelly CollingsworthKelly Collingsworth21, from 9:00 a.m. ttill 1:00 p.m.   Approximately 900 fourth grade students will attend the 2014 Children’s Water Festival hosted by Keep Bulloch Beautiful (KBB) and Georgia Southern University.  The Children’s Water Festival is an eucational event, focused on water science and water conservation.  Students will learn about water quality, the water cycle, water habitat, and how they can limit waste and pollution in their daily lives. 


On the Consent Agenda:

     The commissioners are expected to authorize the County Manager to execute an agreement with the Georgia Department of Corrections for the FY 2015 Intergovernmental Agreement regarding State Inmates ;


    To approve a bid from Most Dependable Fountains, Inc. for the purchase ofoutdoor water fountains;


    To authorize a contract with The University of Georgia Cooperative ExtensionService contract renewals, and;


    To authorize a contract with Trinity Electrical Services, Inc. for installation of 2 precision approach PAPI and flight check at the Statesboro-Bulloch County Airport


  Commissioners think about 35 Minutes will be sufficient to take care of business.  Tuesday’s meeting will be open to the public to attend and participate.
