Crime Suppression Team drug arrests

  The first arrest occurred Monday when team members of the Statesboro-Bulloch Crime Suppression Team served a warrant at 110 St. Charles Place Victor BlaneyVictor BlaneyApartments, the same location where a warrant was served last month.  CST investigators arrested Victor Jerome Blaney of Lanier Drive and charged him with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.  Blaney was already out on bond and on probation.


  Also Monday, investigators arrested Eric Rich Eric RichEric Richwhile he was trying to flush marijuana down the toilet at 10 Stadium Place Apartments.  The toiled clogged and the evidence was recovered.  Rich was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and felony tampering with evidence.  He was also charged with obstruction of an officer for struggling with investigators. 



Taivez HollowayTaivez Holloway At the same time other CST members stopped a vehicle occupied by Taivez Holloway of Knight Drive and Fontarian Deonta Fontarian Deonta HarlieFontarian Deonta HarlieHarlie of Claxton who were suspected of just purchasing narcotics from Rich.  Two small children in the vehicle were turned over to a family member.


  Tuesday CST investigators arrested Kelvin Anderson from Claxton while he was attempting to leave the Statesboro Mall after he was believed to have sold cocaine to another man.  A sizeable amount of Kelvin AndersonKelvin Andersoncocaine and about $600 was seized.  He was charged with sale and possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute.
