SHS Presents "Boots in the Boro"

Statesboro High School Soccer Boosters are presenting their “Boots in the Boro” Soccer Showcase hoping to raise funds for their soccer program. A two

day event, this tournament will feature 19 boys and girls soccer teams from

across Georgia coming together for food, fun, and futbol as it is traditionally called at Mill Creek Regional Park Complex, on Friday, February 14, at 4:15 p.m., and Saturday, February 15, at 9:00 a.m.


Tickets include both days and are $5 for adults (including high school age kids), $3 for children Kindergarten to 8th Grade, and children3 and under are free.

According to USA Today, 35 million kids participate in organized sports each year. Less than half a million boys and girls play the game of soccer.
