Winter Weather School Closings for Thursday

The Statesboro Bulloch County Parks and Recreation Department has closed their doors for today and the Statesboro Mall will close at 6pm. Bulloch County Schools will be closed tomorrow due to the continued winter precipitation. They also added that students will not have to make up the four days they have missed due to the extreme weather. They will decide on Friday’s closings as they assess the situation. Also out of school for tomorrow is Bulloch Academy. Georgia Southern has decided to close their local campus as well as their Coastal Georgia Center in Savannah for Thursday. Ogeechee Technical College will be closed to faculty, staff and students tomorrow due to unsafe travel conditions.
