Statement from Bulloch County Schools

After conferring with the Bulloch County Emergency Management Agency about the winter weather affecting our area over the next 72 hours, Bulloch County Schools’ Superintendent Charles Wilson has made the decision to close school Tuesday and Wednesday for employees and students. All extracurricular activities, sports and aftercare services for employees and students will be cancelled for these days as well.

A decision about Thursday is pending until administrators know more about local conditions. Wilson will make a decision about Thursday by 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Once a decision is made about Thursday, we will communicate this information via local and area media, social media, phone messaging system, and our website. Please monitor these for updates.
