Jan Moore swore in as mayor, Primetime Lounge license revoked

New mayor jokes about the cold extreme cold weather on the first day of her new term.

Council quickly gets to work, voting to revoke the license of the troublesome Primetime Loungs.

Council also gave preliminary approval to a plan that would eventually give citizens a chance to vote on redevelopment powers for the city and approved tyhe purchase of a new dehumidifier system for Statesboro city hall.

 

After the business was done council took party in a short reception welcoming the new mayor and two returning council members.
