Two Arrested for Armed Robbery, One Sought

According to Public Safety Director Wendell Turner in a press release, three subjects forcibly entered an apartment at The Avenue at Southern on 11/21/2013 at approximately 9:45pm, held the two residents at gunpoint, stole multiple items, and fled the scene.  No shots were fired during the incident but the victims did receive injuries from strikes to the face and body.


Officers arrived at the scene, spoke with the victims, and took a report for the incident.  Through further investigation Detective Kevin Wadley identified and arrested Bradley Javon Edwards, 24, on 11/25/2013, and Le’Xavier James Lundy, 20, on 12/30/2013 as two of the three offenders in the armed robbery. They are both charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, and burglary. This case is still under investigation.
