F1rst Friday fashion show

  The first F1rst Friday of 2014 will feature the second annual Fashion for Compassion from 6 till 7 p.m. in the Emma Kelly Theater at the Averitt Center for the Arts in downtown Statesboro. 


  Madame Couture, Deja’ Vu, The Feathered Nest, Children’s Cottage and Silk & Purple, local consignment shops, in charge of the fashion show, will present local models showing off designer clothing from their stores.

  Admission is free but attendees are asked to bring paper goods which will be donated to Safe Haven, a shelter to victims of domestic violence.
