Buffalo Wild Wings held their ribbon cutting this morning under clear skies in order to officially open business right. Keeley Fennel, 2013 Chair of the Statesboro Bulloch County Chamber of Commerce was on site to serve as Master of Ceremonies for the event and spoke about what this means to the community saying, "when you tie together the chamber, the city, the county, and new businesses, we all work together to make Statesboro a better place."

She continued, "By providing new job opportunities with good salaries and good benefits, it's a win-win for everybody.

Katie Paige, sales and marketing rep at Whitfield Signs was a part of the design of the business as Whitfield Signs made the outside signage for the business. She said, "it's great to have an opportunity to work with other businesses as they come into town to start these relationships that hopefully will last and contribute positively to the community."

During the event, a check for $2,370 was presented to the Boys and Girls Club which the restaurant raised during its soft opening by selling desserts and soliciting donations from patrons to whom they provided free food and beverages for the event.
