Man arrested breaking into cars

On 12/11/2013 at approximately 5:10am Officer Jason Borne, Officer Ryan Norton, and Officer Louis Parker responded to Copper Beech Townhomes on Statesboro Place Circle in reference to a subject committing entering autos.  The suspect, later identified as Aaron Lee Brusso, fled when the officers approached him while attempting to make contact.  After a foot chase the officers caught and arrested Brusso.

 

Brusso was transported to the Statesboro Police Department and the case was turned over to Detective Tommy Brown.  Upon further investigation by Detective Brown, Brusso is being charged with 8 counts of Entering Auto, as well as other charges including Obstruction of a Law Enforcement Officer.  More charges are expected as multiple Entering Autos and Criminal Attempts at Entering Auto are currently being investigated.  This case is currently under investigation. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
