Six Juveniles Arrested for Entering Auto & Burglary

Written by  Wednesday, 11 December 2013 10:01

Wendell Turner, Director of Statesboro Public Safety, said about 5:45pm, Officer Sebastian Colquitt was dispatched to Whispering Pines Boulevard in reference to suspicious activity of several juveniles entering a garage and possibly a vehicle.  Although the juveniles had left the area before Officer Colquitt arrived, he was able to identify and locate the juveniles and their parents.

The case was turned over to Detective Keith Holloway who investigated the incident and arrested six juveniles for entering auto and burglary.  Additional charges were made against one of the juveniles for an entering auto that occurred between November 8 and 11and an additional entering auto and financial transaction card fraud that occurred between November 20 and 22.  Both of the additional entering autos incidents occurred in the Whispering Pines area.

Since they are juveniles their names have not been released.  All were between the ages of 9 and 14.

Anyone with information concerning this case is asked to contact Detective Keith Holloway at the Statesboro Police Department at (912) 764-9911.  You may also submit anonymous information to www.tipsoft.com or by texting a tip to “TIPSSPD plus your message” to 274637 (CRIMES).
