Bulloch County sheriff's S.T.E.P. unit deputies arrested Weylon Wallace, 36, after "receiving information that a wanted person from Virginia Beach, Va., was living in a mobile home in Newton's Mobile
Home Park," according to Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson.
Deputies found Wallace and the 16-year-old girl at the residence, where Wallace provided deputies with false information as to his identity in an attempt to conceal his warrants but was eventually arrested and transported to the Bulloch County Jail.
The juvenile, a runaway from Virginia Beach since 2012, was taken into custody as well and she is pending return to Virginia, said Anderson.
Wallace is held without bond on charges of giving false information to law enforcement, obstruction, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, along with his warrants from Virginia, additional charges are possible against Wallace for his part in harboring the juvenile.
