Five of the warrants are for Sylvania residents and the others are for Statesboro residents. Of those 10 persons listed, nine were taken into custody and are in the Bulloch County Jail.
They, as well as 13 others arrested earlier this year, are charged with using data stolen from Social Security accounts, medical records and other information to file fraudulent income tax returns and collect refunds.
All the latest arrests occurred without incident between 7 a.m. and noon Wednesday. The suspects are scheduled to appear in federal court today. Police say more arrests are expected as investigation into the large scale tax fraud and identity theft ring continues.
The probe is being lead by Special Agent Marcus Kirkland with the Statesboro FBI office, and Gwen Weston, Special Agent with the Internal Revenue Service. Other agents assisting in the investigation include the Statesboro Police Department, Georgia State Patrol, Georgia Department of Revenue as well as other local and state agencies.
Eight of those arrested have been identified so far. Sylvania residents arrested were identified as 43 year old Dequillia Ann Hill of Live Oak Road; Tacarro Nicole Morgan, 25, of Brittany Lane; 60 year old Richard Dean Parker of Waters Grove Road; Eula Mae Tisby Rodriguez, 47, of Long Leaf Street; and, Kandice Cierrah White, 25, of Live Oak Road.
Twenty-two year old Cierra Roselee Johnson’s address is listed as Eastview Apartments in Statesboro.
Addresses and ages of Sibrina Elizabeth Bangs and Tameika Raquel Clark was not immediately available.
