June 30th of this year, fifty-one year old Michael Anthony Riley was shot and killed in his Greenbriar Trail home. His wife, her daughter and two others were eventually charged with his murder. A fifth suspect was killed when he fired at probation officers in Augusta who were in the process of arresting him.
Tuesday, the four were indicted by a Bulloch County grand jury and will be arraigned in October.
Riley’s wife, 48 year old Antoinette Braddy Riley, her daughter 29 year old Katrina Denise Leford of Davisboro, 34 year old Tarell Momom and 28 year old Terrance Ray Griswould were eventually arrested and charged with murder and possession of a firearmduring the commission of a crime. Momon is an inmate in Jackson State Prison. Travis Lorenzo Berrian, 29, of Augusta died in the struggle with probation officers there when they attempted to take him into custody July 22. One officer was wounded in thestruggle.
The grand jury returned “true” bills against the four defendants Tuesday. Arraignment is set for 9 a.m. October 9 before Judge F. Gates Peed.
