Man arrested for eavesdropping and peeping tom

Martin Landon Jones Martin Landon Jones   About 7:50 Friday morning Bulloch County Sheriff’s patrol deputies responded to a residence in the 300 block of West Leyland Court for a reported peeping tom.  The woman said she saw a white male peeping through her bathroom window and using a cellphone to video her.  Deputies tracked the man’s footprints in the dew to a nearby residence and questioned him.  According to the Sheriff’s report the man, identified as Martin Landon Jones, also of West Leyland Court, eventually admitted that he had used his phone to video the woman. 

 

  The woman positively identified Jones as being the person she saw at her window and identified clothing located in his home as being those worn by Jones during the incident.

 

  Jones was arrested and transported to the Bulloch County Jail where he was charged with Peeping Tom (felony), Eavesdropping (felony), and Criminal trespass (misdemeanor).  He remains in custody pending a hearing before judicial authorities.
