Kmart Shoplifters Arrested for Walmart Shoplifting

  James Robert Pullam and Jennifer Lynn Pullam, both 26 with Dykes Road, Statesboro, addresses were arrested last week James Robert Pullam James Robert Pullam after Loss Prevention personnel at the Statesboro Wal-Mart store decided to review surveillance tape after learning about K-Mart shoplifting arrests.  A review of the Wal-Mart tapes showed two people taking earrings on the same day as the K-Mart shoplifting where four sets of earrings valued at $2,600 were taken.  Statesboro Director of Public Safety Wendell Turner said the two were recognized as the Pullams based on photos shown to the news media.  Wal-Mart contacted Detective Tommy Brown who confirmed the two on the tape were James and Jennifer Pullam and issued warrants for their Jennifer Lynn Pullam Jennifer Lynn Pullam arrests.


  The Pullmans were arrested last Wednesday by the Jones County Sheriff’s Office on Detective Brown’s warrant and transported back to Bulloch County Jail where they are being held without bond and awaiting further court action.  They are each charged with one count of felony theft by shoplifting for the Wal-Mart incident.
