Brooklet City Council meeting today

Written by  Thursday, 18 July 2013 11:57

The Mayor and City Council of Brooklet will hold their regular meeting today at the Brooklet City Hall at 104 Church Street.  The meeting will get underway at 7 p.m.

There are several items on the agenda to be considered.  One is the recognition of Mr. Del Reid who lives at 502 Cromley Road.  He is concerned about the condition of the ditches in the area and will request the city do something to improve them.

After hearing reports from the heads of several committees the council will turn to new business.  The only item on the list is a review and possible motion on bids from Allen’s Electrical and Y-Delta, Inc., to repair or replace the old lift station off Railroad Street.

Tonight’s meeting is open to the public who are invited to make comments.    These comments will be limited to the subject that is being debated.  Members of the public may speak for FIVE MINUTES and may speak only once.  Anyone wishing to speak at any meeting must be recognized by the mayor before addressing the board.

For more information call Belle Gay at the Brooklet City Hall at 842-2137.  You may also fax her at 842-5877.
