Elmer Bryan MathewsElmer Bryan Mathews  Eighteen year old Elmer Bryan Mathews of Dacula was being held in Bulloch County serving time after being convicted felony theft by taking  and robbery by intimidation in Forsyth.  He now faces even more jail time following an incident last Saturday at the Bulloch County Correctional Institute.

Warden Chris Hill said Mathews was disruptive during a head count by moving from side to side which prevented an accurate count.  As punishment Mathews was ordered to be held in isolation.  Hill said Mathews became hostile and threw a tantrum and resisted being removed from the area.  He said officers had to physically restrain Mathews after he struggled with officers.

Mathews now faces additional charges of terroristic threats, simple battery, obstruction of officers and battery against a law officer.  He was transported to Georgia State Prison.

No one was injured in the incident.
